How do I get to your place?

There is a laundry place right around the corner from Co404 and it will cost you 20-25 MXN a kilo to get your clothes washed, dried and pressed. It usually takes 1-2 days before your clothes are ready for pick up.

Is there a laundry place nearby?

The local markets are around a 10 minute walk in either direction. You can get fresh fruits and veggies, full cheap local meals, 1 liter juices or smoothies, souvenirs and basically anything you need there. They are definitely worth a visit, even if you don’t go grocery shopping there.

You can find a local supermarket just a 5 minute walk away and big supermarkets like Wallmart or Chedraui are only a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride away.

Where can I get groceries?

There is a ATM less than 1 block away. Many of the larger Mexican banks are only a 10 min walk away. Use Santander or Banorte for the lowest fees.

Is there an ATM close by?

The weather in Oaxaca is usually quite hot and dry. In the mornings and evenings the temperatures are quite nice but the afternoons can get really hot. Especially in Summer temperatures will often go above 30 degrees. During Winter daytime temperatures average around 20 degrees. You’ll usually wear shorts and T-shirts during the day and throw on a light jacket or long-sleeve at night.
