Día de los Muertos (October 20 to November 5), quieter and more intimate than Oaxaca's version, with deep Tzotzil Maya roots. February to May for dry season hiking.

Commonly known as "The City of Eternal Spring", Medellín is a mild 22°C year round.
Best time to visit
True to its nickname, there's no bad time to visit weather-wise. But we'd recommend coming for Feria de las Flores in early August.
